The white cup was the place to be
A friendship with a laughing community
A palace where kings drink and rest
A birth in which happiness is expressed

Oh the white cup was the best
only your love and compassion you invest
A heavenly light would shine on those who drank
from the cup it gave and angel like rank

But the white cup was too oblivious to acknowledge the black

And never once would it ever look back
to apologize for the things that it said
All the members of black wished they were dead

The black cup was a region of despair
No recreation, just a lack of air
A zone where no one wanted to be
the fiery pits of purgatory

And it hurts me, destroys everything
that I have left inside
And it kills me to know everyone
that I once loved has died

There's a place in between the cups
mixed with both downs and ups
A state where one feels almost nothing at all
and when one rises someone will make them fall.
